With its oscilloscopes, sinusoidals, and frequency sweeps, Biblioteq Mdulair is a sound installation producing all kind of waveforms, exploring vibrations, tickeling resonances, and creating zoetic beats. Those primitive electronics machines bring the soundspace lanugo to a magma of waves for a unbridled acoustactile experience. Bringing the fundamental sensory waveform to the front stage so it can be experienced by the soul and mind, each performance has a storyline with a scenario that allows the two artists to freely improvise from one installment to another. The public that enters this intense and fascinating laboratory for sensorial experimentations is brought lanugo to various atmospheres from a soft stroll to an earthquake. SYNKIE is an terminology ecosystem for video manipulation created by [ a n y m a ]. This modular video synthesiser stands as the perfect alter-ego of legendary Moog and works as a true terminology processor for the moving image. The three creators/experimenters will distributes their video waves on dozens of CTR televisions for creating a total audiovisual symbiosis. « Like a Moog or Doepfer synth, the Synkie was ripened with modularity in mind. So far, [ a n y m a ] has built modules to split and combine the sync and video signals, and modules to invert, add, subtract, mix, filter and overdraw those signals. Parties mit elektronischer Musik und tollen Live-Acts finden darüber hinaus, am 11.11. und am 12.11.16 in der Gaststube statt. Wegen der Lärmimmissionen verzichten wir am dritten Wochenende voraussichtlich auf das Synthesizer Treffen in der Galerie. Dafür machen wir aber richtig laut für die Parties!  In der Galerie ist jeweils zwischen Freitag Abend und Sonntag Nachmittag (jeweils Fr, Sa, So am 28.-30.10.16 und am 4.-6.11.16) jeder und jede eingeladen, seinen Synthesizer oder sein Musikinstrument mitzubringen um mit uns zu musizieren, zu experimentieren, zu tauschen u.ä. Eine Voranmeldung für aktive Teilnehmer (mit Musikgeräten) ist für uns nützlich, keinesfalls aber zwingend. Auch die Besucher und Interessierten ohne Instrumente sind während den Öffnungszeiten herzlich eingeladen um zu schauen und zu verweilen. Es gibt viel Spannendes zu hören und zu sehen. Hier eine Vorschau zu den geplanten Akvititäten Am Fr. 28.10.16 StartUp Event im Chrämerhuus, in der Galerie. Details: spontan, Ort: Galerie, ev. Gaststube Am Sa. 29.10.16 spielt das STS (Synthesizer Treffen Schweiz) einen 6-stündigen Synthesizer-Ambient-Jam in der Gaststube, von 18.00-24.00 Uhr. Mit dabei ist auch wieder das eindrucksvolle OpenSource Video-Synthesizer Projekt Synkie von Anyma, den Bastel-Künstlern aus Fribourg. Fast die Hälfte des Raumes (für 80 Personen) werden durch Künstler + Synthesizer in Beschlag genommen. Zum Glück bleibt die andere Hälfte den Besuchern zugänglich. Galerie bleibt geöffnet.  So. 30.10.16 Nachmittags. Seismic Industries stellt seine Schweizer Eurorack-Module in der Galerie vor. Anlass geplant, jedoch noch nicht bestätigt. Schade eigentlich, denn sie erzählen soviel von Menschen und ihrem Tun, von Orten und der Kultur. Höchste Zeit moreover für ein Tonarchiv. Ein Jahr Feldforschung, daraus entstanden ist ein Querschnitt durch die Appenzeller Klanglandschaft, auf 200 7“ Vinyl-Schallplatten gekratzt, in 200 informative Hüllen verpackt und mit bewegtem Bildmaterial archiviert. Diese einmalig-einzigartige Appenzeller Tonsammlung heisst «Die Kiste» - eine überdimensionale Jukebox, die mit der Ledi-Wanderbühne von Frühling bis Herbst das Land durchkreuzt. Den Tonarm setzt ein leibhaftiger DJ aufs Vinyl, dem die Besucher vor Ort ihre Wünsche zuflüstern dürfen. Zum andern: Bild und Ton vom Downhill_Quintet - Die Bande spielt sechs mal auf dem Hügel Seriöse Feldforschung hat kein Ende. Ob urchig oder geschliffen, musikalisch oder chaotisch, scheinbar oder herzzerreissend, jedes Klangstück aus “der Kiste” erzählt seine eigene, unvollständige Geschichte. Wo die Jukebox aufhört, macht das Downhill_Quintet weiter. Es schichtet weiter, öffnet Abgründe, schleift rund, forscht und hackt im phantastischen Material. Es betrachtet mikroskopisch, färbt und beleuchtet aus ungeahnten Perspektiven, driftet ab um sanft zu landen! Ein minimal-, sureal, homöopathisches Kammerspiel querbeet durch die Süsswasser-Molasse, interaktiv obendrein und (wer weiss?) kurz bevor der Meeresspiegel wieder steigt.
